Let’s say your ex-boyfriend end up on the cover of a medical journal, earning praise for the clinical study that ended up being a breakthrough medical method that you and him worked on a few months ago, but your then ex-boyfriend didn’t get any of the credit for his contribution. Don’t you think he’d be pissed? I think anyone with feelings would be hurt. In this case in the episode, Meredith was the one not receiving proper credit for her contribution to the Shepherd Method and she was understandably upset. I loved her line when they were arguing: "They can't call it the Shepherd-Grey method because then people would think you had help." Such an idiotic move on Derek’s part to not understand her frustration.
The Domino surgery that dominated this episode was fascinating. I’ve never heard of that before. Erin summed it up nicely in her recap for this week.

If any one of the 6 donors backed out at the last-minute, the entire project could be jeopardized, hence the reference to dominos. Unfortunately, when one donor learned that her husband, Stan (George Newbern), was having a fling with another donor, Lindsay (Saige Thompson), the whole procedure was almost compromised. I knew the minute I understood how the surgery had to work that something was going to happen to one of the donors and ruin everything. How horrible it was for that woman to find out her husband was having an affair with one of the women participating in the donor surgery? She found out after walking in on her husband and Lindsay discussing (out in the open, I might add) how Lindsay was frustrated that Stan refused to tell his wife about the affair and consequently leave her. Watching her cling on to him throughout the episode and waiting for him to make his choice was just sad. She seemed so confident that he would call her and leave his wife that my heart felt for her a little when Cristina helped her realize that Stan made his decision: to stay with his wife.
Mark tutoring Callie on how to please Erica had me rolling with laughter, especially after Callie explained that if Mark could win an award, it would be doing what he does best and that’s pleasing women. Callie then ran off at the end of the episode to find Erica and told her “take off your pants” about 2 seconds after she found her in the room. Good for her.

- The “kidney in a jar” thing was so creepy, but my heart melted when Derek gave the jar to Meredith as a peace offering while Cristina sat beside her, obviously jealous.
- Nicknaming Lexie, Lexiepedia was another priceless line from this season. It’s like she’s officially apart of the Seattle Grace family now!
- Owen a.k.a Hot Scottish Doc is back! YES!!- Izzie and Alex finally making up just added to the greatness that was this episode.
- I couldn’t believe it when Mer dropped that kidney on the ground and everyone shouted about the 5 second rule. It’s an ORGAN going in someone’s BODY. That had to damage something.
- Lexie FINALLY stood up to George and let him know what a jerk he was being. I cheered when she shouted “Screw you O'Malley!" to him in the locker room.
